About TFI HEAL Programme

TFI HEAL Programme is an effort by Singapore’s two largest public healthcare clusters – Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) and National Healthcare Group (NHG), with a grant support from philanthropic organisation, Temasek Foundation International (TFI), Singapore.

The TFI HEAL Programme is a five-day practitioner-based healthcare governance and leadership executive programme which aims to bring together some 50 participants from around Asia holding senior appointments such as Minister For Health, Principal Secretary of Health, Chief Executive Officers, Chairman Medical Board, Chief Operating Officer, Directors/Headsat the national, state, provincial or city-level from selected top-tiered hospitals.

Aim

This programme is aimed at:

·         Sharing knowledge in governance, leadership and management practices in healthcare services in Singapore;

·         Discussing roles of healthcare ministries and associated agencies as part of public healthcare systems with a focus on current practices in Singapore; and

·         Facilitating an exchange of views and experiences of participants and creating an opportunity to build a network of peer support to aid future collaborations.

The intensive five-day programme will cover topics in the areas of:

·         Healthcare Policies and Governance (including Healthcare Financing)

·         Towards Healthcare Excellence

·         Transforming Care - Quality Standards

·         Towards Sustainable Healthcare

·         Acute to community care - A smooth transition

Programme Activities

The five-day leadership programme will be conducted in English and include sharing of best practices by healthcare executives from Singapore Health Services and National Healthcare Group, senior officials from Ministry of Health Singapore, reflections and interactive panel discussions, and organised visits as part of learning journey to public healthcare facilities, including public restricted areas such as hospital resource management operations centre.

Funding by Temasek Foundation International, Singapore Health Services and National Healthcare Group

Funding for the programme will covers associated costs for the following:

a)     TFI HEAL registration for programme

b)    Hotel accommodation at Fairmont Hotel(up to five-nights)

c)     All ground transportation and meal arrangements during the programme. 

Please note full attendance for the five-day programme is required to enjoy the funding.

Airfare & Travel Costs

Participants are required to fund their own return airfare and travel related costs (including travel insurance) to Singapore.

This is a personal invitation for you to attend this TFI HEAL Programme.  If, however, you are not able to attend this programme, you may nominate a senior colleague to attend.  Please use the attached TFI HEAL ‘Acceptance & Nomination’ sheet to confirm your participation by 30 November 2017.
