American Medical Group cooperates with VINMEC in building an international hospital

GE Healthcare Healthcare (USA) and VINMEC Health System signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on 12/12/2017 in Ha Noi. Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in the field of medical technology, human resources training, and hospital design.
GE Healthcare continues to provide VINMEC with the most advanced medical equipment such as image diagnosis, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, anesthesia, ventilator. They will also help in developing human resources for cardiology and oncology areas.

Representatives of VINMEC and Healthcare signed a comprehensive
strategic cooperation agreement on December 12th, 2017.
In addition, GE Healthcare will assist VINMEC in implementing the VINMEC University Health Science Project. With a team of experienced experts in design and construction of hospitals from Dubai and USA, GE Healthcare will help VINMEC to allocate and arrange hospital facilities, optimize the operation and ensure Safety and comfort in accordance with international standards, good manpower training.
Terri Bresenham, vice president and general manager of GE Healthcare in Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia, says there are three criteria for designing a hospital. That is effective patient segmentation; convenient to expand in the future; The patient is comfortable at the hospital.
"Fostering and training human resources is a critical condition for a sustainable health system that will have a lasting impact on the quality of health services in the future," said Terri Bressenham.
VINMEC University Hospital of Health Sciences has a scale of 1,200 beds, is expected to be built in 2018, will be put into operation in 2019. The facility will receive medical examination and treatment of patients, apply health insurance pay.
