On December 18, 2018, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health in coordination with the European Union Delegation (EU) organized the 4th National Forum on Hospital Quality.

Ms. Axelle Nicaise, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation delivered the speech at the Forum

Mrs. Axelle Nicaise, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation said at the Forum: "We are here today, after 5 years from the first EU support activities in Vietnam, we are very happy to witness the very high commitment from the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, Provincial Department of Health, public and private health facilities to improve the quality of health services, considering it as one of the core objectives of Health Sector Reform"

Associate Professor Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue, Director of the Administration of Medical Examination and Treatment said: "The quality of hospitals has improved significantly in the last 5 years. The innovation started from the way of thinking, the way of doing to the way of evaluating of the goal of "Patient Centered Care Service ". From the First National Quality Forum 2013 to the Fourth one in 2018, the efforts in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment have been recognized. Improving hospital quality has become a movement and a motivation for hospitals to work towards patient satisfaction. "
